Set it up
Three attackers share one ball against a defender. Set a short timed turn so the defender rotates even without winning it.
How to play
Attackers move around the square to provide two passing options. Score a group point for four passes, then continue playing. Swap the defender every minute.
Make it easier
Increase the area and let the defender walk.
Add a challenge
Reduce the space slightly while keeping touches unrestricted.
What to watch for
Attackers hide directly behind the defender. Ask them to move sideways until the passer can see their feet.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same passing decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
