| Players | 3–6 |
|---|---|
| Starting space | Triangle with 7-yard sides |
| Suggested time | 6–10 minutes, including short breaks |
| Equipment | Balls, flat cones, bibs when teams are used |
Set it up
Put one player at each corner and one ball in play. With more players, use a second triangle instead of long queues.
How to play
Pass to the next corner and follow your pass at a jog. The receiver opens toward the next player before sending the ball on. Reverse direction after a minute.
Make it easier
Allow an extra controlling touch and shorten the sides.
Add a challenge
Choose the next corner freely so players must communicate and scan.
What to watch for
Players run into the receiver’s path. Follow outside the triangle and leave the receiving space open.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same passing decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
