Set it up
A server holds a spare ball outside the shooting lane. A shooter takes an initial shot; a keeper is optional.
How to play
After the first shot, the server rolls a second ball into reachable space. The shooter adjusts and finishes again. Stop immediately if the keeper controls the ball.
Make it easier
Place the second ball still instead of rolling it.
Add a challenge
Vary the direction of the second ball so the shooter must scan.
What to watch for
The shooter stops to watch the first attempt. Ask for balanced recovery and eyes on the next available ball.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same finishing decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
