Teach it with a simple activity
Use a slow demonstration without contact to show that reaching the ball and the follow-through are separate parts of the action. Do not ask children to recreate a dangerous tackle.

A player touches the ball then follows through dangerously into an opponent. The first touch is not a blanket exemption.

Keep the explanation focused on controlled play. A coach’s claim that the ball moved does not settle the decision.
