| Players | 2–10 |

| Starting space | 15 × 15 yards; scattered cones |
| Suggested time | 6–10 minutes, including short breaks |
| Equipment | Balls, flat cones, bibs when teams are used |
Set it up
Players dribble independently. Cones represent closed roads, with clear space around each one.
How to play
Approach a cone, pull the ball back with the sole, turn the body, and leave along a different road. Alternate the turning foot when comfortable.
Make it easier
Practice the pullback without a cone at a slow pace.
Add a challenge
Replace a cone with a walking defender who blocks one exit.
What to watch for
Children pull the ball back but keep facing the obstacle. Ask them to turn and see their new road before accelerating.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same ball mastery decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
