Set it up
Players occupy wide corners, with supporting players between corners if available. Start with one ball.
How to play
Move the ball through a supporting player to a far-side corner. The far receiver takes a first touch into space and starts the next switch.
Make it easier
Shorten distances and allow players to stop the ball.
Add a challenge
Add one central defender to block the direct route across.
What to watch for
Players force a long diagonal. Use a safe support pass when the central lane is blocked.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same width decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
