Set it up
Player A has the ball, B supports centrally, and C begins farther forward to one side.
How to play
A passes to B. C moves into a new passing lane as the ball travels, and B connects to C. Rotate positions and try both directions.
Make it easier
Walk through the sequence with generous space.
Add a challenge
Add a defender who follows C or screens B so the players choose an alternative.
What to watch for
C runs before B can see the option. Time the movement with the pass and show into B’s field of view.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same teamwork decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
