Set it up
Pair players thoughtfully, with one ball each. Each child chooses a simple move they can demonstrate.
How to play
Take turns showing a stop, turn, or gentle dribble. The partner tries it, then chooses their own move. Count shared attempts, not who performs the hardest skill.
Make it easier
Invite players to copy the coach before choosing a move.
Add a challenge
Join two pairs and let each child teach one action.
What to watch for
One child takes over the demonstration. Use a visible turn order so both partners choose and teach.
Take it into a game
Finish with a short small-sided game and look for the same confidence decision without the activity’s extra conditions. Ask a player to describe one moment when it helped. Keep the next round simple if the skill disappears under pressure.
KEEP IT SIMPLELook for space. Keep the ball within reach.
